Dr. Alan D. Milano, Optometrist

State licensed and board certified, Dr. Alan D. Milano attended Optometry School at the University of New York, College of Optometry, and has been practicing optometry for over 20 years. He established his practice in the Warm Springs District of Fremont in 1987. Practicing in the Silicon Valley, Dr. Milano understands the importance of evaluating and prescribing computer workstations and eyewear. Certified in this area, Dr. Milano is on staff at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and administers the lab's safety glasses and computer eyewear programs. He also serves on the Ergonomics Task Force at Livermore Labs.

Susan Ruiz-Williams, Office Manager

Susan has 25 years of office management experience and has been an integral part of Dr. Milano's staff since 1987. Susan is the liaison between patients and insurance companies and has gained a loyal following due to her tenacity and follow through. She networks with the eyewear industry's top contacts to ensure the office offers the latest and most fashionable frames and accessories on the market. Susan also has a remarkable ability to choose the perfect frame to fit your face structure and personality. She attends workshops for American Board of Optometry accreditation.

Charles Anthony Ulloa, Optometric Technician

Charles joined the staff in 2000. His specialty is conducting the corneal topography procedure for contact lens fittings and training new wearers in lens insertion, removal, and cleaning. Charles is currently working toward a degree in music and psychology and his customer service skills reflect his commitment to his studies.
